We grow our organic loose beetroot maincrop from September till December and make sure we keep them out on the field and in the soil for as long as possible to ensure maximum flavour and nutrient density, before the cold and the frost comes in and they need lifting and storing in the chiller. When not available from our field we source these from our wholesaler Organic North, either from UK growers such as Royal Oak, Newfields, Chapel Farm or Strawberry Fields, or when stocks run low in UK, Holland or Spain.
