Sheffield Organic Growers is a cluster of independent organic growers, based on a 12-acre site in the beautiful Moss Valley on the edge of Sheffield.
Sheffield Organic Growers sells a range of produce, including salad, vegetables, fruit and herbs, through local outlets including Knab Farm Shop, Zeds, Mr Pickles, Filthy Gorgeous, Seven Hills Bakery, Nether Edge Farmers Market and Hartleys Fruit Cabin
We also supply:
A local community project which runs a veg bag scheme and provides opportunities for volunteering and learning food growing skills. Nick Johnson grows most of the produce that goes into the veg bags, and Kim Davison welcomes volunteers on Wednesdays between 10am and 3pm.
And we are the home of:
A biodynamic growing project led by Martin Bradshaw, supplying veg bags to local customers.
Beanies is a busy wholefoods shop and greengrocers in Walkley. A workers co-operative, Beanies has been selling wholesome, fresh produce since 1986. One of the members, Matt West, is now growing a range of vegetables, salads and herbs for the shop and veg box scheme.
